There's a helpful pronunciation guide written on the station name board. AFAIR, the first two syllables should be pronounced (by us Saesnegs!) something like "Thlan-vire-...."

Was there in May for a wedding, there is a small church, a hotel, a few houses as the doctor said a couple of cafe's a volvo garage, BP petrol station and a costcutter.

Was not born in 1954 (or for another 24 years) so couldn't say if it had changed.
