lobster gloves

Tried a pair on in Aldi. They felt nice and warm. However the lobster thing felt so odd that I did not buy them. Reminded me of the Vulcan salute. Am I alone in not taking to the hand of the lobster?

I've got a pair of Assos lobster gloves and love them. It may be that the Assos ones are cut better than the ones you tried on. (I would hope so given the price!)

I bought some of the Aldi ones, wore them on Sunday at 6am when it was around 5c and my hands were toasty.
Did feel slightly strange but I reckon they'll be ok, only thing wrong is the lack of padding, probably be fine for short-ish rides though.

Damn - I got my sister to pick up some overshoes for me but forgot to mention those gloves. I reckon they would have suited me.

I do get pretty 'crabby' at times!

No - but I do get cold fingers on winter rides and I thought my fingers might stay warmer having more air around them and with less constriction of blood vessels.

I always assumed 2F + 2F + T.

I was just about to post that myself - they do look like a 3F + 1 F + T design!

My Aldi gloves completely filled with water yesterday morning. Weighed a ton afterwards.

Also attempted a middle finger salute to a driver which didn't work.
