Depends on the roof construction and the ceiling joists but If it's a relatively modern house the ceiling joists might only have been designed for 25Kg/m2 max.

There'll be (wo)man loads, tanks loads and all sorts probs, but I've seen some stuffed lofts causing sagging ceilings and droopy ridges, and you wouldn't want a droopy ridge.
