I record my route and my distance (and a new top speed) I use a basic Catseye Strada cycle computer for distance (and speed) and my memory for the route.

Bit OTT at the moment but all rides logged using Runkeeper App, plus I have a Garmin Forerunner, so that gets used as well. Given I'm only really bothered about total miles I ought to drop one of those!

How do people find Endomondo?

It's cracking, I compete with friends and will be buying the stats (premium) package - plus it works on my WinMo 6.5 phone.

I can drop my privacy for a bit if you want to have a look at what info gets collected.

I've just downloaded the google app 'my tracks". Haven't tried it yet, but will do later today....

Can't afford a rinky dinky Garmin at the moment.

Thus I use and like Endomondo, but it is a little basic. Hey, it's a freebie!
It's quite heavy on battery consumption, so I don't I tend to use it for anything longer than 30-ish miles.

I mainly run, but keep flirting with the idea of triathlon...

I'm in trouble if our lass see's 'flirting', I'd best be committed as I've already bought a turbo trainer and a couple of open water wetsuits.......

All my runs or races I wear a garmin 305.

I upload all to 'fetcheveryone'. When I cycle, this gets uploaded too. Swims are manually entered.

So yeah, everythings recorded, not everythings analysed. At least, looking at speed, elevation and heartrate, I know when I did the White peak marathon I could confirm it was stupidity on my part that caused me to blow up at 18 miles.

I find there is some differences between Garmin Connect and Training Centre, sometimes massive difference. Often its only about 0.1mph for a lap but iirc last week TC was saying my average lap was 4.5mph with a max of 44mph but Connect reported it as 17.4mph average (with the same max) I know what I believe ;-).
For logging miles I have different bikes not all of which have a gps mount (and it wouldn't be worth the hassle of finding satellites for a 3mile jaunt up the town) so I use a mixture of the Garmin, bike computers (odometers) and log that in a spread sheet and www.mycyclinglog.com for team cc.
