I use Strava and a Garmin 500.

Strava is getting the edge over endmondo & connect for me the new segment time trial are very addictive, it records everyones time through a segment and then places them in a top 10ish.

I still upload to endmondo due to the challenges and connect because connect has 100% of my data. If I were starting out I would say Strava has the edge over all the others. The segments <for me> are brillant only problem is over doing it.

Oh and you can look up local clubs if they are a member such as Dulwich Paragon and see how fast their club run is and even use the track and compare your time. Seems a really useful tool before thinking of doing it in a group.

I just log stats online. I use Bikejournal and MyCylinglog because sometimes one or other is a bit dodgy, so at least I've got it recorded.

I used to use a spreadsheet at work, which I kept tweaking and got all sorts of interesting stats out of, but it was pointless if I could do it online anyway.

I've been using RunKeeper, but given my commute can involve a few lengthy stops for traffic negotiation, I've been lamenting the lack of an "auto pause" feature.

Endomondo seems to get the thumbs up, so I've downloaded it and am going to give it a crack for my homeward run later on . Quite like the countdown feature too, which will give me enough time to put the phone in a plastic bag then my pocket before setting off!

Not been at this commuting thing for long, but I enjoy tracking my rides – secretly I'm hoping I'll beat last night's all time best of 51:10 for my 14.2 mile route (av 16.66mph), but then the wind seems to be picking up again. Wind, eh? Not my favourite bit about commuting, unless of course, it's behind me

Cateye Wireless for every time im out, logging miles and so I can keep to certain cruising speeds.
sMove (does what Endomondo does) for Samsung Bada smartphones for the logging the big stuff.
ridewithgps.com for route planing.

I go over the top...

I use Sportypal.com because that's what I started with and so has the only 'full' account.
My father-in-law then told me I should use bikejournal.com as that's what he uses so we can compare, so I began cross posting to that too (I'm gaining on him quickly too!)
Then I got a Holux GPSport 260, which comes with software that records it all automatically so I have that too.
Finally, a friend gave me an invite to Fitocracy which is a Facebook game in which you compete about how active you all are!
