Hello, I have the cicerone "cycling the loire valley". It is around 1000km and runs from mount Gerbier de Jonc to st nazaire. we will only have 4 days and hope to do about 200-250km. Can anyone suggest which sections are the most interesting?

IMHO anywhere between Orleans (nice city) and Angers (ditto). there are more towns on the route, lots of chateaux and for the majority of the time the cycle path / road follows the river closely.

Hi there, we did a chunk of it a few years back. I thought the roads were going to be busy, but in July they were ok. We were around Blois, the chateaus there and back around to Ambois. Not sure if you can see my garmin routes or not? :

We liked it here as great wine tasting, lots to see too. I am sure there are some other amazing parts too, but we loved it here.
