I'd love to come and would probably use one of my last annual leave days to get there but I won't be able to stay the full eight hours as I would need to make sure I didn't miss the last train to Southampton.

Find somewhere to doss after the do (Maccers, 7-11 etc., with a few of us others) then get the early morning coach to Southampton.

I'd be up for it. As far as the money goes, I reckon anyone saying yes should be willing to send you the sick squid straight away - it's not like it's a major commitment, and I don't see why you should have to take any money risks, as well as doing all the organising.

Coach sounds good but what are Maccers and 7-11 (I had a very boring childhood
McDonalds and 7-11 (cafe and shop-type establishment). Many are open 24-hours, and if there are a bunch of us, we be safe from drunken knobs. But will they be safe rom us?
