I'm really sorry that I wasn't able to make it along tonight. I've spent the whole day freezing my backside off in a cold training room in Hammersmith and my three month old cold has reared it's head again so I thought it best not to spread my germs everywhere

well, thankyou one and all, and, especially User. I had a great time, although I realise that I'm going to have to track down Robert Lindsay (a minor character actor of surpassing shortness, well past his best) and kick his scrawny arse.

It was a really good do, with about thirty of us, all in good humour (one or two in very good humour). Nice to meet Gail and Mrs I, and to chat with Dayvo, who had come all the way from Norway! I'm sorry to have missed Cookiemonster.

Those of you who wondered how we got on at the party after the CC party will be relieved to hear that there were no upsets or fallings over.

That was a wonderful night in brilliant company. Huge props to User for arranging and glad to hear TinyMyChances made it back. Merry Christmas one and all!

what a cracking fun time...very well done User for organising.
Mrs Ian loved meeting everybody. It was her first night out with me since Ian jnr had been born, and I couldn't have chosen a better bunch of people for her to meet. Not being a cyclist, she thought she would feel a little left out but everyone made her feel so welcome.

Dayvo and Cookiemonster... great to have met you guys at last..Swee'pea & Gooner Mad Dog too.....
And of course all the other usual suspects which made it such a top night.

Pictures were taken.... look forward to seeing them..

Look at you rowdy bunch!!!

Sad to have missed this one but glad you all had a great time!

A Friday Night full of Beer, Chat, Great Company and Christmas Cheer! Excellent fun! Thank you User1314 - that was a fab party. I learnt a lot. F'rinstance: Peroni is sold by the metre; Catius Clay is cute; not everyone looks like their avatar! And apparently, after a certain amount of alcohol, gin tastes like sparkling mineral water!

We were missing a few Martins (a trio at least) and several other faces so I look forward to the next one (ttcycle hello!). Oh and btw Ianrauk, some of those signals you displayed do not - for good reason - feature on the fnrttc blogspot!

Thank you everyone. I took some pics here (or hereabouts!) https://picasaweb.google.com/108733...&authkey=Gv1sRgCPLw3bSM5JfFGA&feat=directlink

and here are a couple (I use that word loosely)

Already been on the bike as had to be at work for 9am this morning...a cycle commute is a good wey to clear a fuzzy head..
And am now watching the footie

User - excellent planning and organisation. :bravo:

That was a really good night out (that's 3 late nights out in London I've had this week). Still, I got home before the 2 am curfew set by my daughter. And no fuzzy head this morning - although it could be the 30 minute cycle ride home from the station in the early hours helped. And I even realised I was indicating to turn off the main toad into the village, even though I hadn't seen any cars for 4 miles.

Thanks User for organising a good night.
Sadly I missed the buffet but I should have known better than to turn up late when there's food and a bunch of cyclists around.

It was good to meet all the regulars and new faces. Merry Christmas!

Thanks User - worra lorra larfs.
I fear I may have drunk too much so if I was rude to anyone, stumbled over anyone, spilt drink on anyone or flirted outrageously with anyone, I can only blame the wicked, demon drink. Dayvo and I were poured onto the right train by Adam, Becs and Luke IIRC - many thanks. We got back to Clapton without further mishap.
