How about volunteering for a few days then you will have a guaranteed entry to the next edition.
I was thinking that but I'm busy when it gets nearby. Yorkshire. Where is it on Saturday - south?

Looks good. I was aware of the pop-up dorms (well rooms) hence: "using the controls for any break (aka sleep stop) between those days."Here you go, you forgot the pop up dormitories if you are going to include additional restrictions.

Given the low metres/km south of the Humber and the general pattern of riders slowing down day by day, I think it's reasonable to expect people, even 'no 300 this year' Matt with a 10:15 start, to make Hessle unless a 'well after lunch' start.
I'm quite keen to get and stay ahead of the bulge (0830 start) but not sensible to try to make Hawick for Night 2, so Brampton it is (305 + 276) and hope I'm tired enough when it's still light to sleep and leave in the wee hours. But then Innerleithen will be too short and Brampton far too long, so I reckon I might be on a mat (carried) in a corner of Eskdalemuir school (ahead of the bulge).

8:30 S8 me: see you (Thursday pm, Friday & Saturday) but not for 5:15 Sunday. Where do you plan to take your first break longer than an hour? I'm stopping just short of Barton.
