Oh how cool.

I was out having a pootle in London last night too and I can confirm it look as pretty as the pictures are.

It was however getting rather nippy too, confirming Dell's comments about it being chilly this Friday night..

Great pics again!

Went through Bromley at 6.15 last night. So surprised didn't see you guys on the way to Greenwich, seeing as that's where I had just come from.

Do you have a GPX of your route? Looks like a good one.
[/quoute]

sorry i don't have a gpx
it's an easy enough route to follow as it's sign posted all the way to tower bridge
(though you don't want to do this alone at night)

Thanks - I did a lovely route on the London Sightseer 'Audax' (100k, not 200k, hence the quotes), which I suspect followed much of the same route for that section, but was rather fiddly:

A Tuesday night ride around London - A tourist on three wheels.

London Night Rides are highly recommended - a chance to be a tourist from London in London. This one was no exception.

From Regents Park via Trafalgar Square, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Bridge to The Millenium Wheel. A tour along the Southbank up to London Bridge past the London Dungeons and on to the Tate Modern. The fountains outside Boris Johnston's office are always worth a look as indeed is HMS Belfast.

Five wheels over Tower Bridge and onto the Northside of the river. A slightly scary dual carriageway by Sugar Wharf and up to Fleet Street. Along the Strand to Trafalgar Square, Charing Cross Road to Tottenham Court Road along Oxford Street. A much needed portion-of-chips stop at Bond Street allowed a view of the Christmas Decorations at John Lewis. Then on to Marble Arch.

Into Hyde Park - to be the only two people in the park. Dark but not. The London glow and the clear sky -(not forgetting TC1's front light with which you could see the craters on the moon) cycling along the Serpentine was out of this world. The silhouettes of the pedalos and boats, silent, still and calm. Extraordinary.

Out onto the hurly burly Kensington Gore, past The Royal Albert Hall and down Queens Gate. Then home. London at night is a delight. A winner every time. Thank you Topcat1 - I look forward to London Lights 4 and highly recommend it! Mice - tripple the fun on three wheels.

Footnote: If I could line up my pics in an orderly fashion I would do so....
