We are thinking of taking our bikes to london by train staying the nigth then cycling home.

I read on theforum that Travelodge seem to be ok with taking your bikes into your rooms.

Does anyone have any recent experience of doing this. I am particularly interested in Travelodges from Euston station northwards.

Or does anyone have any better alternatives

Just do it. If they argue ask them why wheelchair tyres are OK

I stay in hotels a lot for work (and leisure). I have never been stopped taking my bike into my room at any of them and that includes some pretty posh ones. I used to call and check beforehand but haven't done so for quite a while now.

Some Travelodge rooms are pretty small - not huge room for 2 bikes

I stayed in the Travelodge on City Rd by Moorgate this week which was okay.

Yep, taken bikes (including the trike) into numerous hotel rooms at all price levels. Not a problem at all.

Well it looks hopeful that we will have a bed for the night.

I suppose the roads would be quite if we had to cycle hime at night:laugh:

Thanks for the replies
