Long Shorts

Does anyone have a pair of Lycra shorts with longer legs than usual. Being tall I need a bit of extra leg length, but in ten years I've only ever managed to find one pair. They're about 2" longer than everything else I've ever seen but I can't find any more like 'em.

3/4 lengths? I have some Pearl Izumi 3/4 (admittedly women's ones) that sit just below my knees...

do they do 3/4 for men? Yes, it would seem so in bibs (Gore)

I've got a pair of tenn 3/4 lycras. Pretty good for the money.

No, not that long. I'm looking for something above the knee, just something that doesn't make me look like one of the Cheeky Girls.

Well I don't know whether the same thing holds for men's shorts but I notice that with the women's versions from folk like Gore, Giordana, Castelli etc. the 'racing' versions are longer than the 'sport' and 'casual' versions. Thus you get more for your money at the upper price brackets

how tall are you?

I am 6'4" and never had any problems finding 'just above knee' shorts...and my legs are long.

Try Lusso - I prefer a longer short myself, am 6'1" and these fit the bill for me.

Endura do a Humvee Lycra version, so you get the baggies look without the cold wet legs when it rains.
