I did dip my toe in the water RE the cycle to work scheme, but I'm the only person here who cycles!

if they willing to give you a car or a company car "allowance" ask if you can se it on a bike ? they can only say no ! :-)

They'd be giving me a pool car that they already have, and it would be so I can hit the road and travel far and wide, so a bike doesn't excite them (sadly).
