My elder daughter is currently studying in Aberdeen, having spent her first year in Edinburgh. I have absolutely no idea of the merits of either. Her choices.

Much the same ... one went to Falmouth, one to Nottingham. It was their choice at the end of the day. So far so good. 2 down, one to go!

Swansea is a fantastic place to live, simply because it sits on a wide and beautiful bay with a fabulous peninsula to the West, but remains cheap to live in because the city centre is a bit crap. I taught in the English dept for four years - my thoughts about it might be outdated but I'll happily share them via PM.

Mine too .... but I was so shitt I ended-up at South Bank Polytechnic ..... and not even the degree course .....
