As a rule, any tube will do for general riding.

A quality brand will be better but depends on many factors before you will notice a difference eg wheels and tyre quality.

I avoid Specialized - always had problems with them.
However, the most robust tubes I've used are the 'cheap' NuTrak' ones.
Main thing is to keep them pumped up!

There are marginal differences in quality - Continental and Schwalbe being the best in my experience.

But the imprtant thing is gettng the right size for your tyre. Check tyre sidewalls it will give you your size.

I stick to Conti's when the choice is mine. Made the mistake of re-fitting a chinese branded tube that came with my Langster Steel after I'd tightened a spoke, connected track pump, began to pump it up, checked the bead at around 40 psi, (old habit!), continued to pump, got to about 80 psi and *BANG*, tube went off like an A bomb!

Swopped it out for a Conti, 110 psi later, happy days
