Looking for help choosing between bikes..

Cube ordered this morning online. Not one I was originally going for, but as a few have said, there seem to be so many good bikes in this range it's just a case of picking one you're happy with. Being able to see the Cube in person made a big difference, and the deal with CRC online too.

Now just need to make space in the garage....

Have you gone with the Agree??

Ordered mine from them wednesday, arrived friday with quite a few freebies i've done 45 miles on it so far, 45 happy miles, it makes me smile, i was riding the entry level Scott Speedster before it and the difference is night and day, the Cube is soooo much smoother to ride.

Yep, the Agree GTC Pro Compact that you recommended. Thanks for pointing it out! I think any further weight savings will be easier to achieve by reducing my gut, but even playing around with the bike in my LBS it was amazing how much lighter and better it felt (though not surprising) than the Carrera roadie I've got.

Also wondering about sizes, I`m 183cm ( 6ft ) and hope the 58 would fit ? my other bikes Langster is a 56 and the Giant SCr was a Large. I reckon looking at the fram dimensions it looks very similar to my langster. I`m probably border line for sizing but would not want to be too stretched out?

Being a Cube there seem to be plenty of LBS's stocking them, at least in my area. Might be worth looking them up online and at least sitting on one in a local shop to see what it's like? That's all I was able to do.

Found that the 56 seemed a good fit to me - I'm about 5' 10".

Was in a main dealer a wee while back and they suggested that I may need a 58 if my current steed was a 56, Cube seem to be sized smaller.

Yep, two cms smaller IMO. I normally ride a 54cm but the 56cm Cube fits great.

I own a cube, and adore it. It feels really well made, and even with my 98kg bum on it handles great. Breaks and gearing are as good as you wil get on a sub 1k bike.

Focus is a carbon framed job,Cube is Aluminium, not that makes a huge difference but the Focus is also £1400, unless you have it cheaper or in a sale ? Other than that I`m sure its a nice bike. The Cube is full 105 grp rather than the Focus which is not.
