Looking for Hybrid

I'm contemplating a new commuter bike this year as I've got a new job which is a bit further than my current one and my old faithful is getting near it's end of life.

Thinking of this one:

Focus Corrente 2008

and was wondering if anybody has got one and their thoughts, or advice on others.

it just looks sexy!

Big fan of the Specialized Sirrus here and my '06 base model was £100 cheaper than the Focus. It's very quick and versatile, mudguard fittings and front and rear racks both fittable. Done centuries on it, small tour on it last year and looking to do more this year. Plenty of tow path style cycling on it as well as the road miles.
