Looking for new bicycle, but don`t know much about them.

Hello,

So recently changed my work, and now have to drive little over 3miles to work. Not much, but want more comfort as I have at the moment with small, creepy bicycle.
So budget is 200 ish pounds.
What is better racing or hybrid? what can you say about these offers:

I'd look at this, you can try it out in store too, they have a number of shops round the country

I wouldn't buy a no name 'brand' from eBay especially if you know little to nothing about bikes. Buying from a shop gives you some level of security, you can go back to sort issues, get advice etc

The missus has got a fit 300, its pretty decent as a beginner bike.
