She's losing her single speed virginity tomorrow. I was waiting for the final part to come in and was wondering why it was taking longer than expected. Finally figured it out after talking to my wife, and her telling me I never placed the order for the part. The part was in four days after placing the order , I guess I'll chalk it up to old age.

I am a bit confused - you seemed to be using gears in the video...

Is that single speed as in fixed gear, or just one gear and a freehub?

I had my regular road bike in this video, but will be taking the single speed to an event for it's first ride since changing her from her TT bike set-up tomorrow. It's run as one gear with a freehub.
