This material was selected for the covers' entirety, as its dense, rubber-like structure provides both strength and insulation.The covers extend above your ankles and are sealed off in the back with hook-and-loop closures, further protecting your feet and lower legs from the elements.
Reinforced openings at the heel and midfoot provide an uninterrupted interface between your cleats and pedals, as well as allowing your shoes' heels to be exposed for traction while walking.
