I had to ask one of my customers the same question a few weeks ago. Customer's daughter looked at me like I had just landed from outer space and the customer said "Only the biggest band on the planet ever". I said "oh, I thought that that was Queen". I got a very pitying look of customer's daughter.
You were right.
I had the privilege of seeing Queen play a smaller venue in Edinburgh and it was fantastic. I was 18.

It was the hall beside Edinburgh Airport (at the side of the the Highland Show ground), I believe it's used for various antiques markets etc now. It really wasn't big so had a fantastic view standing near the front!
Much better than Wembley Arena when I seen Gloria Estefan.
My most recent concert was Robbie Williams at Wembley - that was fantastic!

Those small 'intimate' gigs are the best aren't they.

A lot of bands were coming out of Manchester in my teens & 20's so I frequented a lot of little 'dives' to watch them.

Real 'sticky carpet' & 'peeling wallpaper' venues.
