Cold, crisp - a blood red sun coming up over mist shrouded fields, and the need to put a bit of work in before the chill began to go away.

Sometimes, autumn is a pretty good time to be on the bike, isn't it?

It was bright and clear and lovely, but there was that earthy autumnal smell in the park. Wet leaves, earth, you know?

Winter draws on. I've got mine on anyway.

Beautiful blanket of mist over the Gordano Valley this morning.
This is my first Autumn of commuting by bike and its amazing how much you miss when you're in a car.

coming back from clubbing on a Sunday morning when the roads are nearly empty, the pavements quiet, the morning air crisp with a slight haze, the sun burning through the old chimney stacks of battersea power station with an early morning jumbo floating high above the Thames on its approach to Heathrow. Makes me wish I hadn’t wasted the night away but out on the bike exploring London.

It was a lovely sunny morning here as well today but a very sore throat and aching body meant I can still not ride the bike even after over one week with no commute. Hope tomorrow has better results!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gorgeous this morning. Almost didn't cycle as didn't sleep well last night (occasional insomniac).

Really really glad that I did. Set me up for the day. Pity about the road closure on the way home though! D'oh!

Amazing sun rise this morning. Having a rubbish week at work and forced myself to ride this morning. So glad I did. After seeing the sun rise and the mist hanging over the river it gave me a huge lift.

I went for a quick 39 mile cycle today and I throughly enjoyed it. I did the Tyne Pedestrain Tunnel lift by myself to. I really couldn't be bothered to carry my bike down the escaltors!

I prefer the very early commute before the sun comes up. I actualy feel safer in the dark! At 0500 I also have the road to my self and free from all the crazy London drivers who just see cyclests as a pain in A...!
I gave upthe clubbing for cycling ............It does'nt make my mouth taste like dogs scrotum!!!
