Ok this is the latest and unless things go seriously wrong, the final update. The lady in question was very keen to visit me and for me to "show her around my village". She wanted to bring lunch so that we could eat a little together !! And she wanted to know if "l have someone" as she put it.
Im afraid that was just a bit hard to take for my partner who is an ex Swedish event rider and she don't take kindly to this sort of thing, can't think why
Any how, long story short....l had to inform the French lady of the situation and she reacted surprisingly well....so civilised the French.....phew!
