On the way home, saw a lad riding a Bianchi road bike. It was all black with a Shimano drive train.
It just seemed 'wrong'; should have been Bianchi Blue with a Campag drivetrain - !

Counselling is available for anyone affected by this issue.

We have a nice Bianchi frame at work; we had to give up on the components so rather than scrap it we stripped it down and stacked it in the rafters.

I am amazed you paid so much attention to the drive train. I rarely pay much attention to the bike (unless it is very unusual) and just say hello / engage with the rider.

A good cyclist looks like a cyclist whatever bike they're riding.

Barnet,
I get so upset when photos of bikes are posted showing the non-drive side. 'It's all about the bike'!

I have read the book, it's very good.
For quite a few years now I have looked at the bike going past without really noticing who is riding it.
