Luggage

I'm probably being stupid (as per the norm ) but is it OK to carry things like energy powders and bars on board a plane as hold luggage on a flight to Spain?

I think that if it is hold luggage you won't have any problems with airport security when boarding the plane. However you may have problems with customs at the other end. Depends on what you are allowed to take into the country. Fruit, meat & dairy products are usually a problem.

I thought that durians were banned from all planes under an arms limitations treaty ... and yes I have tried one, in Vancouver. Lovely.

I was tempted to bring back some snake wine from Vietnam but decided I'd never actually drink it because it tasted like death.
