Went out today with the sole intention of seeing the moonrise and managed to get this photo:

It was bl**dy cold though!

A blood moon meeting in overcast Peterborough.

Actually, there is a bit of frost down here as well so maybe I will see it after all.

Better than I could manage, iPhone camera was tragic and when I tried the bridge camera it had a full sd card haha.

I was surprised when I heard the back door to my house open and my 5yr old popped out in her coat etc, she had heard me talk about the moon the night before I woke up and came to look lol

Forgot all about it... but i do set off for work at about ten-to-six heading in a westerly direction and witnessed the first rays of sun hitting the top of the moon. I must admit, with my eyes mostly skyward, i didn't pay much attention to the road ahead
