Ok just a quick mention on these, will update as time goes on if I remember 
. Anyway, at this point in time they can be had for £28.99 at Merlin cycles but not in my size so paid over £40 for them in large. The fit is very good, in fact they do feel like a quality garment. The grippers do not cut my thighs in two unlike the Dare2b pair I have, the pad is comfortable but have to say not the dearest pair of shorts I have bought but they are looking promising. Wore them this morning, in the cold and no probs with the meat and two veg freezing up 
. Defo worth the money thus far but early days so will see how they wash up. Oh the stitching is another thing my Dare2b shorts fell to bits in the pad area, these look somewhat better in that area but time will tell.
