Does anyone know anywhere that can re-stitch a Lycette saddle - the stitching has come apart on the seam and the nose. It's otherwise in good nick so be nice to restore it:
Nope. I'd be phoning around any local places that can repair horse saddles to see if they fancied a fiddly job, else trying to do it myself (gulp) or more likely sell it as a restoration job.
The whole bike is a bit of a 'project' - its a really old Humber with a lovely twin fork and the quadrant shaped SA lever on the top tube - it belonged to an elderly gentleman who had to give up riding at the age of 87 having had the bike from his teens.
My great-grandfather and my grandfather definitely would have done repairs like this, so definitely try (traditional) cobblers.
If no joy, you can try a diy re-cover of your saddle.
