been using my local tailor for several repairs this past year. a few zippers & a tear. for the tear, they used some material of their own as backing, then stitched it all up, so there is no bunching. cheap enough to let the pros do it right

What is a Fray check?

It's a tinned beef pie with a lattice top?!
