Lyrca for a 44'' waist

A mate is looking to start riding a bike and is looking for a pair or 3 of 44'' lycra shorts or bibs.

Any suggestion all the usual channels have come up with 39.5'' maximum.

Altura are quite big made, they only go up to 42 inch but will stretch quite easily another couple of inches.

Back in the day, decathlon were the bomb for larger sizes of shorts and bibs

One more tip, get bibs and then you don't have to worry about waistbands rolling down in a comedy fashion.

That's never happened to me, there would be far more comedy in me wearing bibs...and they would be a pita when wanting to go to the loo (in a hurry)

Yes, I think the waistband rolling down is more of a problem for men with a beer gut. So I've heard anyway.
