Mr. B has steel in his veins no place for new-fangled stuff like carbon, and yes l fell for that hook, line and sinker :wacko:

So is the "glue" used where the tubes are bonded or is the carbon itself vulnerable ?

LOL, Some of the older carbon bikes (even some of the new carbon bikes) dont do to well in the wet, the carbon its self is ok just the alloy fittings (lugs , bottom bracket inserts etc ) that are made of alloy corrode/ expand and crack the carbon.

Also be careful not to leave it out in the French sun for too long without a cooling air flow because if not the carbon will implode , hence why you have all those bike's on top of the cars following the tour de france etc etc

Ok that does it l am giving my TVT Carbone to the rubbish collection :sad:
