I wasn't aware of that , so l will ride my TVT only when the weather allows ......l couldn't bear to get it wet anyway

Got to be careful with older carbon bikes as they need air flow around them but if they get wet they disolve

So is the "glue" used where the tubes are bonded or is the carbon itself vulnerable ?

It's an in joke that has arisen as a result of the rich bankers and lawyers only taking out their expensive carbon toys on perfectly dry, sunny days in summer then putting them away for the winter, in case they should get them wet or dirty...….

LOL, Some of the older carbon bikes (even some of the new carbon bikes) dont do to well in the wet, the carbon its self is ok just the alloy fittings (lugs , bottom bracket inserts etc ) that are made of alloy corrode/ expand and crack the carbon.

Also be careful not to leave it out in the French sun for too long without a cooling air flow because if not the carbon will implode , hence why you have all those bike's on top of the cars following the tour de france etc etc
