On the road to nowhere
I think my MacBook charger needs replacing as it is random when it decides to do its job. Or at least that's when I hope otherwise it's the logic board.

Has anyone purchased chargers from anywhere other than the apple shop as they are £65 there and I've seen them on Fleabay for half that, claiming to be genuine but I'm always dubious about cr@p copies.

It's an early 2011 MacBook Pro 13" so probably too old for recall

My experience of any cheapies off ebay for anything Apple haven't been good. Try to find a slightly discounted genuine one from somewhere

I've had genuine and copies. They all fail at the same place in about the same amount of time in my experience.

I've bought cables that claimed to be genuine, and have been unrecognised. Anything coming from the Far East won't be. A UK official Apple reseller more likely and you'd be able to return for a refund. I wouldn't expect more than a 10% discount as Apple control prices so closely. If it looks too good to be true...
