MacDonalds Porridge

A friend recently introduced me to the wonders of MacD's porridge when I supported him on one leg of his JOGLE. .

We started at 6.30 and decided to stop around 9.30. I didn't believe him but for 99p the porridge proved to be spot on.

Everything else looked the usual junk

Porridge is a great breakfast food and very good for you too. At 99p MacDonald's must be making a killing.

I've not tried the porridge but have a dirty addiction to the breakfast wraps and the sausage McMuffins.

Their porridge is good, as their coffee can be too. And they do a nice 99 on a hot evening.

I'd rather have a bacon sarnie personally, or, if going to McDonalds, a Bacon and Eggs McMuffin - I can't stand their burgers, but this is very tasty! :-)

Porridge is nice and high in potassium too, higher than bananas apparently so it helps ward off the dreaded cramp.
I have popped in for a McPorridge on many occasions when out on a pre brekky ride.

Damn, I love Tim Horton's. Their milkshakes are just divine.

There used to be (maybe still is) a Spar on Haymarket in London that sold Tim Horton's coffee and doughnuts. Not sure about milkshakes though!

Neither, you spread all around the inside of your tyres, leave overnight and you have a guaranteed puncture free ride next day
