Can someone explain the concept to me please?

I've never watched it but my TV is suddenly being bombarded with adverts which appear to be nothing but apparently vacuous posh people constantly rattling on about who the fancy and are or aren't going out with as if they are 12.

is it a reality show or posh eastenders or a parody show?

Oh yeah, I've got the s*** bit just from the Ad's, if they're the hooks to draw you into the tat behind it then good grief, I'm absolutely baffled whether it is supposed to be a comedy or serve as a documentary that proves the need for a targetted fatal epidemic of ebola now and again

I happened to be at somebody's house when that Jonathan Ross chat show was on (not what I would choose to watch) and some of the stars of that show were on, what a bunch of complete dullards. I have never seen the show and do not want to, but I know it's shite.

I ended up watching an episode or two because it was on e4 in the early hours when I couldn't sleep. I'm never sure how much the TV shows are spinning the 'reality' aspect as a lot of it is 'recreated', but there's a certain curiosity about these people born into lots of money and how they act like spoilt children, their only worries seem to be relationships and falling out with eachother over petty things.

One of my kids watches it and I can't stand even walking into the room and hearing a few seconds of it ... it seems so false/unreal and horrible.
