Maggers make's it on the telly

Just caught the end of the BBC news (for the local bit) and spotted an article about helmet cam weares.

they showed Maggers clip (where only dogs can hear him) of the near lorry miss on the rab...plus another that I reconginsed from hrermof one of us you being knocked off at a roundabout.


Interesting that the article was pretty positive about cyclists for once.

Well with the increase of positivity and usefulness of cameras, we should hopefully see a decrease in the amount of incidents we catch on them. With more people being concerned of being caught on camera.

I still dont understand why every bike shop doesn't sell a massive selection of head cams, they are missing out on a huge market!!

The big shops do, Evans certainly does and i think cycle surgery does. The smaller non chain shops probably won't as it's the kind of stock that rarely gets bought at the moment.

I've been spending a lot of time in both stores of late (plus a few more in my pursuit of the ideal roadie) and have not noticed any, I was looking for a go pro myself...must have been looking in the wrong place

In several of Evans stores I have seen GoPro's and Muvi's.
The one off great portland street deffinetly does stock them.

I just spent 2 hours with a PC giving statements and DVDs into evidence. Red light jumping drivers. She was quite surprised at the number of cyclists videoing drivers, and wondered how the police were likely to deal with the flood of videos and prosecutions, and whether they would be able to cope. I also showed her silly cyclists, and then the high-tech London weave from Lucas Brunelle.
