Hi
I was just wondering as too, does anyone here use or have any opinions on those copper magnetic brackets.
With the advancing year's,I'm starting to suffer with the usual aching and stiff joints and I saw some of these bracelets today in my local pharmacy which are supposed to help with the aforementioned.
Are they a con and a waste of money or have you had one and actually felt the benefits of them.
I've seen these things around as far as I can remember to which makes me think there must be something beneficial about them.
Kind regards,
Johnny

It's a shame your local pharmacy chooses to sell these. I'd be wary of any advice they give out.

At 71 my years have advanced somewhat. You can very easily counteract aching and stiff joints with a good stretching routine. I stretch for 20 - 25 minutes each morning five days a week. You might be surprised by how quickly this eases any discomfort. As stretching is part of my daily routine if I miss several days together I quickly notice the difference. You will also find your body quickly becomes much more supple.

Following a big RTC last June I spent several months working with a physio. Her assessment, injury aside, was I have a greater range of movement and suppleness than many of her patients in their 30s.

I do gentle weights 4/5 days week for 30 - 45 minutes which is excellent for building muscle and keeping the body well toned. All of these routines are in the dining room with an exercise mat and a basic weights set. No gyms or fancy equipment.

I've taken glucasomine for 20+ years. My GP "prescribed" it saying there's no real scientific evidence for this but I find it works for me. After six months or so I think I felt a difference.

You already have the solution yourself. Gizmos, vitamins and so on may help but the one thing guaranteed to help is in your power. Exercise those muscles and joints daily.

What about magnetic copper bracelets?
they offer the best of both placebos ;)

I struggled to work out by what mechanism this could happen and couldn’t come up with a plausible explanation. Then I read this.

Thing is that you have to think about the atoms/molecules/ions

The magnetic field could possibly have an effect on the dissolved substances
which is fine
but they would have to go somewhere
and i have seen some that are "permanent" and do not have a thing that collects the sediment

so certainly that type has to be rubbish

I've been seeing a physio regularly for 40+ years. A very highly qualified person who specialised in sports. Sadly no longer with us but his son followed the same career and he is now looking after me. Your comment is so true, I visited him several weeks ago as I had started experiencing back pains and stiffness around the shoulders. He did a quick assessment and told me that my problem was posture. I'd been very busy and gradually stopped my usual stretching routine. I was starting to stoop like an old man. I restarted my morning routine and within a week everything was resolved.

I'm pleased to hear you're improving, none of us want to feel like we're getting older - though we know we are.

It's also good to have my view and experience confirmed by another physio and client. 👍

OK, all you so called clever people, answer this for me.
A few years ago I visited a sex therapist to get advice Re keeping an erection.
She told me to slip a magnetic copper bracelet over my todger before sex. She said it would help relieve the stiffness.
It seemed to work as all the stiffness disappeared.
How did that work ?

I think it's coincidence. Seeing Katie Hopkins on tv at that moment is what caused your blue veiner to lose its enthusiasm.
