Australian magpie, innit. Which while black and white isn't, I think, related to the Proper British Magpie, which would never dare do such a thing.

Very intelligent birds. When one magpie dies or moves away there's always a dispute over territory so all the local magpies will assemble to see the outcome because they know it will affect their own territory. It's called a parliament of magpies.
