Making progress with Youtube trolls

I'm not normally one for blocking people on Youtube unless they get really offensive or personal. I tend to look at it that they are just digging themselves into a deeper and deeper hole as they post ever increasingly illogical statements however in this instance I think there may be a glimmer of hope!

I'm sure most helmet cammers will have at one time or another had a visit from MostSelfRighteous.
He has already had one channel closed down due to abuse and generally trolling however he setup a new channel and has returned. He generally hates cyclists, thinks we are a menace and has some rather weird views on how to deal with the current situation however I think I'm slowly winning him round on this one :-) He does seem to have calmed down a bit on my clips recently and his last few comments I think show he is starting to join the dots up however he's just not quite getting "it".

Fair play to you for putting the effort in.
Cannot be bothered myself, if any swearing or threats I delete and block. I leave other troll comments up(usually without replying) as they always make themselves look stupid.

I haven't blocked any trolls yet, their posts serve to illustrate some of the bile & prejudice out there. Most are one line abuse posts which I don't respond to. I haven't come across MostSelfRighteous yet but I'll keep a lookout. Thanks for the warning.

He went through a phase on mine as VSR.. I deleted all of his childish tirades and told him in no uncertain terms he wont get a voice on my videos (just as a Jew wont invite an antisemite into their home to abuse them, I dont see why I should have to listen to similar claptrap).

When he came back as MSR he attempted it again. Again I deleted and left a comment on his channel to the same effect as the first time around. I have no issue with critique where its fair and polite, even a bit of banter, but MSR has a bit of a screw loose.

Waste of effort to even talk to him. (Presuming a he, that is)

Any vid I put up on youtube will have comments and votes disabled...I'm just not interested in trolls or entering into debate over an incident.

I have had the typical torrent from MySelfRighteous on a few of my videos. Simply remove the comments. OR post a reply to the comment and then remove both of them and block them, so they get a message with your comment in but cannot reply with some childish remark.

Any abuse against me or cyclists will get removed. I also try and disuade other YT users from getting into arguments with these people.

That was easy to deal with, as he hadn't paid the comment excise duty (CED) he didn't have any right to post comments on my channel, Blocked.

He still hasn't explained to me how he has a right to complain about cyclists on the road on YouTube as he doesn't pay rood taks for his computer, and according to him you only have a say whilst you're in your car.
