With this sort of thing is it better to go via the organised package route or build your own trip?

I would probably do it via Sportactive as they are gaurenteed entry spots. They also run it like a team so there will be a support car/mechanic etc in addition to those already provided by the organisers.

Their package is impressive and sounds worth it. Wonder when they will update it - they're still showing the 2012 package.

Our cycling club are talking about it, wether it happens or not!
I didn't manage to do it this year for a combination of reasons. However in a way I'm glad I didn't as the weather was grim on the day on the event - wet, windy and pretty cold. All of which is pretty unusual weather for Mallorca at the end of April

I have just got back from Cycling in Mallorca.
If you could get an entry pass, organising it yourself would be easy enough. I am only a plodder and I think I could get through this in 14 hours, if it was in October.
The problem with it being in April is that Being in Denmark we could still be covered in snow in April. Could I get fit enough using a turbo trainer over winter?
