To answer an earlier question - this kind of thing seems to happen a fair amount in the US whose police and courts can have very prudish assumptions.

There was a case, I think in Virginia - it was a state in which 'sodomy' was illegal anyway, when I lived in the States, in which a couple were secretly filmed by their neighbour from through a window whilst they were having anal sex in their own house, and they were convicted of the offence and the neighbour wasn't condemned at all... ludicrous.

I think this story is missing some important facts. In the UK (I've no idea if this applies in the US) for an offence of indecent exposure, there must be an erect penis. There must be evidence of sexual arousal.

You can't help wondering why the bloke couldn't be bothered to put on a dressing gown. Or why his curtains weren't drawn. Or what she was doing at that time of the morning with a young child.

Reminds me of an incident a mate witnessed in Jamaica. He was on a tourist bus stopped at some road works. Suddenly a woman and her friends started screeching that there were 'black men flashing' at them. This woman then climbed over my mate to point out that over the road, through some trees, about 50m from the bus, some black guys were showering in a waterfall.

presumably if he had taken out a shotgun and shot her in the back of the head then that would have been considered acceptable under the law for protecting his property, just as long as he didnt do it naked!
