EJ200? Nice nice nice. I have an Epiphone Dove myself. No cutaway and I kind of wish that there was one.

I had one of these

And, how I wish I could play even half as good as him
My daughter plays Cello, I keep trying to persuade her to upgrade, to a 'slap Bass'

Interesting topic. I cleared out my garage and got all my guitar/recording equipment out of the loft. My new toy was a Zoom R16 multi-track, but now I've realised that sitting in a cold garage writing rubbish songs is not a great use of my 2 hours free time in the evenings. I've decided to have an e-bay day on Saturday and sell all my music stuff. That, coupled with some un-spent Christmas and birthday money, would leave me about £400 to spend.

So, I was sat in the garage thinking "what would I really like to play with in the evenings?". No rude comments please, I'm British. I already have a motorbike, have no need for a car, and no room for trains. Not sure what to spend my money on now.

These really are powerful beasts; I saw the 'Lord Lascelles' steam engine at the Malpas Show a few years ago. The owner told me that it has incredible pulling power; apparently, at some previous show he'd attended, he was challenged by an Army display team to see if his traction engine could pull their tank. He knew that it could pull a tank and accepted the challenge; what he didn't know, was that the Army guys left the tank in gear, making it much more difficult to shift. He told me that his engine did manage to pull the tank and that he heard afterwards, that it caused £40,000 worth of damage to the tank's gearbox.

The engine in the picture that you've supplied, looks even more powerful than the Lord Lascelles.

I actually own a traction engine . . . which is of rather more modest dimensions . . .

Is that a Hummingbird there?

How about just getting the guitar and using the old 'it followed me home and I'm keeping it' routine

I've tried the 'followed me', with bikes, & it doesn't work:angel:
The Acoustic???
Can't remember, & the image won't enlarge sufficiently, without going 'grainy'

The Hofner was labelled (internally) as a President, can't find any online to match it (I've looked before)

This was the rear of it, & slightly convex too

I had one of these as a kid! Got it as a replacement for the Crossfire game I'd got from Santa which didn't work. The shop was out of stock of Crossfire, so the refund money went on this. Fabulous fun, though it did get a bit repetitive after a while!

Got a pair of Monitor Audio Bronze 2 speakers.

They makes my Rega Planar 3 sing, but sadly show the limits of my current, cheapo, cartridge - I may need to invest a little in a Nagayoka Mp110
