5 hours!, I have a bit of a "thing" where when I start a project it has to have a satisfactory outcome.
My son said his Ligitech G920 Xbox Series X wheel kept failing calibration, for £300 you'd expect decent built quality (well I would personally).
Took the wheel to bits, screws loose and all the plastic screw retainers broken on the steering housing (why didn't they make it our of aluminium ffs..).
Stripped housing down removed all the mess and decided best way forward (rubbish bin was high on list!).
Drilled and tapped the base plate to receive M4 stainless bolts, modified plastic housing, put it all together and still no calibration!.
Took me another hour or more to work our how to "clock" the steering limit rack to get full motion. Centring the while assy is obvious not the way to go.
What a bloomin job, got there in the end.. Just so disappointing how companies cheap out on materials and produce an inferior product, our Kuga Powershift gearbox suffered exactly the same problem (plastic where there shouldn't be any..).
