Dry ? Wet roads, no rain.

Very mild, no waterproofs - they were in panniers.

Well, there was a severe rain warning here for this morning, but I had a pleasant dry ride in, with some blue sky showing as well. Even made up for the few gits in motor vehicles that I encountered. The glass was most definitely half full.

feck me this thread is depressing. :bicycle:

This must be what it's like to be Scottish, this is their normal summer weather

Seemed like it was raining constantly last night whilst I was working, got all 'geared up' for another soaking and it was surprisingly dry, apart from the huge puddles everywhere.

My late mum was Scottish so when I was a child we went to visit our relatives in Scotland every summer for about 5 or 6 weeks at a time. Some summers were absolutely great, sunny every day, but there was one horror that sticks in my mind - it poured with rain every single day for the whole 6 weeks!

Did your visit start on St Swithins' Day by any chance?

Nah, I'm naturally bitter ;)

The last 3 days has told me I need to replace my Overshoes - they have stretched so water ingresses through the bottom - due to pick up a pair of Endura MT500's from Evans tomorrow.

Well done on selling the car.

The rain has finally stopped, the wind has dropped, roads only slightly damp, and a speedy ride into work was done.
