Manc commuters - stolen Kuota in Chorlton

This should eventually go in lost/stolen but thought it might get a bit more coverage in commuting initially.

Story here.

Madness, will ofc keep an eye out for it, but as with most exotic bikes, unlikely anyone will see it. Off topic, but I see he is from Chrolton Velo, I have ridden with a couple of Chorlton Velo riders recently, good guy's, strong riders!

Gutted for the guy, but absolutely no way would i have left that bike unlocked and unattended whilst i popped into a shop or anywhere else for that matter.
Hope he gets it back, but i doubt it.

Sorry, but if you leave that sort of bike where people can take it so easily, then you sort of deserve it. Who leaves a bike worth that amount unlocked?

You think that the bike's owner did something stupid. We think he did something stupid. Unless the guy is even more stupid than we thought he was, then he will also be thinking that he did something very stupid!

Right, now that we all agree on that, can we try and help the poor guy get his bike back, given that he is a fellow cyclist in need and that is why the thread was started in the first place!
