I don't even know what that means.

I'm here for a couple of months working in Knutsford.
Whoops, was getting mixed up with the other interloper @Origamist

Ah the sun was back out on my way in today and met a lovely old couple, both on vintage Mercian's, that apparently used to be silver as they had bought them back in the eighties for their silver aniversary. Aww. Chap took a keen interest in my green 3-speed. And then I was late to work.

Route has evolved slightly from this:

To this:

Found that taking the shortcut through Tatton park whilst pretty isn't really a short cut at all as you can't really blast through it, and it's very exposed in the almost constant northerly wind. And the other shortcut over the M56 is also a slow path, and is currently blocked off due to flooding or a murder or something.

Here you go.

I really like this route-especially the bit over the narrow foot bridge at the Swan with two Nicks pub (good pub and grub btw).

1 traffic light until you are in knutsford.

Edit-you could start off on Atlantic street rather than george richards way too. Parallel to each other but atlantic street is quieter.

I will try that - have been looking for a way to avoid central Altrincham and Hale as they can get a bit congested, although I'll do it on a day when I'm not in a hurry as I expect I'll be stopping to check the GPS on my phone fairly often! A childhood of forced orienteering and I'm still fairly crap at maps.

Old/new green steel 3-speed road bike with a green Caradice bag on the back, usually sporting a green or blue top and a substantial beard as I haven't yet found a posh barbers in the area.

Time varies. Anything between half seven and half ten in the morning, and half five and half nine at night! Stupid deadlines.

When are you lot about?
