this weather reminds me of the students i have seen cycling down oxford road, one girl had her wellies on (wonder how she coped with 2 full boots of water) and one riding along holding a large umbrella.
Would love to see them coping in this weather

Killing time before 5-a-side here. Seems to have brightened up a bit (for now) but no doubt it'll be lashing it down again when I'm knackered and have to cycle home at about 7.15pm.

Argh..... chucking it down when I went to get changed, sunny when I got out.... rode home chasing the rain, no such luck, boil in the bag. Home, showered, had my tea, went out to clean bike - chucking it down....you can't win.......ho hum...

No wet gear other than jacket. Made it three quarters of the way home then heavens opened on me. And I mean opened. In the 5 or so minutes it took to get home I was cycling through mini-streams and although my jacket kept my top dry my shorts, legs and feet were absolutely drenched. Got changed, put some jeans on and took the dog for a walk and the skies were partly blue - no rain. Brilliant
