My dad, my sister and I have just signed up, has anyone done this before?

I have done it a couple of times a few years ago. Best to leave early to avoid the crowds en route. Also the entry fee is only for admin not going to The Christie, so if you want to benefit them raise a bit of sponsorship as well. Reasonably nice route if the weather is good. Enjoy it. :okay:

Done it twice, possibly doing it again this year if my employers are supporting it again.

Its been an annual ride for the last 5 years for myself, and for the last few years its been there and back, but have decided not to do it again as they never change the route and you can only ride the A6 so many times.
That said if you've not done it before its a good ride if you set off from Manchester early (Before 8am) to avoid the masses, also its great for first timers to this type of event as there are literally thousands do it, and has a positive party atmosphere at the start , stops and finish line.

Cheers, I couldn't see it on the link, but worked it out to around 60 miles on google maps
