Manifold Way near Leek

Took my three little darlings on their first proper trail ride today with the new kids trailer and my eldest's "new" £30 special ! We ended up at the Manifold Way near Leek and found it to be be perfect with the trail being tarmac so perfect even after a storm.Only rode a couple of hours but i think they have the bug now !

The last time I rode along there was about 2 years ago. I was the first person to leave tracks in the freshly fallen snow and I can remember thinking just how lovely it was. Unfortunately, by the time I had got to the end of thtrail and started climbing up towards Flash the snow had become rather deep and it was FREEZING (not so lovely)

The trailer is for the 2 year old and when number 4 arrives ( yes i know i should stop ! ) but my 5 year old is a lazy little sod a still dangerouse on two wheels ! There is no knowing what carnage would have been caused with all the other cyclists and one big horse on the trail !!!! The trailer is brilliant for the job and easily carries a cool bag in the rear pouch along with coats but i am going to put the panniers back on the bike so i can trasfer a bit of weight on the back wheel.
Cracking trail though,just wish i had more time to play on it but we had to pick Mrs Skud and bump up from work at the Trafford Centre !

Yes, a lovely trail. Think the girls might be a bit small for Thor's cave though. I used to live just down the road from there.
