Pedantry begins. I should have pointed out I wasn't talking about this weekend, but the day the video was shot. That was quite slack of my given you had put it in your reply.
The day the video was shot there were no floods on the rest of my commute. What is particularly depressing is this is a new cycle route which has been built without adequate drainage. Certainly from my experience, and based on my commutes, it comes off badly compared to the rest of the roads I cycle along. It takes days for the floods to subside. (hence twitter photo).
Soggy feet from rain, and flooded paths are different. If there are other cycle paths that flood like this they are unacceptable too.
