Ouch. I was a big fan (still am really, but don't rate anything past Holy Wood) and that looks pretty tame compared to some of the stuff he used to get up to on stage!
Latest info seems to indicate that he's expected to recover, although there are no details about the extent of the injuries. I've never been into his music, but the contrast between his modest, thoughtful eloquence and the foaming intolerance displayed by his many detractors made an impression on me, from Bowling for Columbine onwards. I hope he pulls through.
